Van Bommel Raffa 50029 men's lace-up shoe in dark brown H-width (wide). This smooth-bladed derby boot is part of the classic Van Bommel collection. The shoe is made using the Blake construction method. The sole has a fine, non-slip tread. The sole's heel is made of vegetable-tanned leather, hand-finished with a stylish blue finish. The heel is divided into two sections by a decorative dovetail joint. The part that bears the most wear while walking is made of durable rubber, while the adjacent part is made of the same vegetable-tanned leather as the heel. To prevent your heel from catching on the hem of your trousers, the inside of the heel has been sanded down. Two very fine hair edges have been milled into the side of the sole's edge, both at the top and bottom. The leather upper edge of the shoe is finished with a thin black welt. On the side of the shoe, the iconic copper "VB" is stamped into the leather near the top eyelet. The lining is made entirely of high-quality calf leather. This shoe is crafted from beautiful, classic, dark brown suede from a tannery in Castelfranco di Sotto, in the Pisa region of Italy. The suede has a short, shaved fiber and a luxurious writing effect.
