The brand Chaco

Chaco is an American shoe brand known for its outdoor sandals with adjustable Z-straps, the ''Chacos''. In 1989 Mark Paigen, a whitewater rafting guide, decided to make an outdoor sandal. His goal was to make a sandal that provided good support for the foot and in which his feet could dry. The first pair was sold to a tour customer and Chaco has since grown into a successful brand with an international reputation. In addition to sandals, Chaco also offers a variety of shoes, slippers, boots and accessories.
