''This line is called 'The smarter'. Let me explain... Everyone knows it: Chocolate that doesn't make you fat, sleeping 2 hours a night and just feeling rested, eating 3 plates of Chinese food without falling apart afterwards: THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! It does not exist. As humans we always have to balance between reason and feeling. That's not necessary with this shoe. There is no need to choose between a stylish appearance or comfort. The secret is in the TPU sole. It is made in a mold, without the use of hard and stiff midsoles or sole edges. So super smooth. The challenge is to give such a comfortable sole a nice chic look. We did this with a tiny leather edge along the sole edge. Study that edge carefully, because we worked on it for a very long time. At our place in Moergestel we have put together an example from old soles and some loose parts with a very thin edge of leather on it. With that example we go to our sole manufacturer. We are standing there in front of a battalion of technicians who are all shaking their heads. Doesn't fit, too thin, the molds break, it doesn't stay in place and... my favorite answer in these types of situations: 'This is virtually impossible'. 'AHAA! So it's possible! Glad to hear that, let's get started'. And so here it is: with some perseverance and a few smart solutions in the sole mold: 'The smarter!''
