About Puma

Puma has a rich heritage dating back to 1948, when Rudolf Dassler took the reins and founded his own brand after parting ways with his brother Adi Dassler, later known for Adidas. On January 23, 1948, Rudolf’s company ‘RuDa’ was officially registered, and on October 1 of that year, the name PUMA was trademarked.

Puma started with groundbreaking innovations in sports shoes. In 1952, it introduced the “SUPER ATOM,” the world’s first football boot with screw-in studs, designed in collaboration with football experts. Over the years, Puma has supported top athletes. Sprinters wore Puma spikes during the Olympic Games in 1960 and 1964, while world-class footballers like Pelé proudly represented the brand.

Today, Puma is known for its innovative blend of sport and lifestyle. Think revolutionary technologies like the RS cushioning system, the DISC lacing system, and modern fashion-forward designs. Collaborations with icons like Rihanna (Fenty), Jay‑Z (basketball), The Weeknd, Liu Wen, and Ami demonstrate that Puma’s strength goes beyond performance – it’s a cool, cultural chameleon on both street and runway.

Puma creates sneakers for women, men, girls, and boys. For everyone who loves sneakers with designs that are both sporty and stylish. The collection is active, accessible, and energetic, with attention to both functional performance and everyday style.

For women, Puma offers stylish sport and lifestyle sneakers in trendy colors, comfortable fits, and premium materials.

For men, the brand offers sneakers with a rugged look, technical features, and bold design.

For girls and boys, Puma focuses on playful sneakers with vibrant colors and reliable quality – perfect for school or leisure, with durability and comfort as a priority.

Comfort, technology, and design are the common threads running through Puma sneakers. They combine cushioning and support with trendy looks. Think Formstrip for stability, various sole technologies, and materials suited for urban and active wear moments.
