The upper consists of the skin-friendly and wear-resistant synthetic material Birko-Florand the original Birkenstock footbed provides extra comfort. The Gizeh closes with a metal buckle. Birkofloris a skin-friendly, tear-resistant and easy-care synthetic material used exclusively by Birkenstock. The footbed contains an integrated latex foam cushion and the cork is extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak, is heat-insulating and has very good cushioning properties. The EVA outsole (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, particularly light, elastic plastic with excellent cushioning properties. This compensates for small irregularities in the floor and cushions every step gently while walking.
