Copenhagen Studios was founded in 2017, when German twin brothers Johannes and Julian Rellecke decided to shape their passion for shoes. Although the name suggests Denmark, the brand is of German origin; the inspiration comes from Copenhagen, where the design studio is located, while the headquarters are based in Germany.
The brand was built with craftsmanship in its DNA: the brothers are third-generation shoemakers. Before founding Copenhagen Studios, they already ran fashion companies together, including the brand Liebeskind, but their love for shoes turned out to be the driving force.
