“This is a nice casual winter classic on a sturdy rubber tread sole. The sleek, rounded last makes it a truly stylish dress shoe, not a heavy, rugged boot. It's a simple, classic model, and that's precisely why a lot can go wrong during the design process. The smallest mistake and the shoe is out of balance. So we did a lot of tinkering. When the boot was finished, I couldn't resist giving it a little extra love. They love that. It makes them feel extra comfortable in their box. I let my imagination run wild and added some small scribbles to the tread of the classic commando sole. That tread was invented at the beginning of the 20th century by Vitale Bramani, the founder of sole manufacturer Vibram. Over the years, we've varied on this theme several times. This time, it's just a few simple scribbles that make everything just a little bit different.” I tried to keep it clean, but one of the angels in the toe ring clearly shouldn't have been eating beans for a while.
