Floris van Bommel De Venker SFM-50140 lace-up boot for men in taupe. This is a casual boot on a sporty lightweight sole. The light and flexible sole, in combination with the pre-formed footbed made of EVA material, ensure a very comfortable shoe. The footbed is removable and can be replaced with your own footbed or arch support. A mirrored lining has been applied to the forefoot using a stylish tension seam. The shoe is lined with top-quality black calf leather. The upper of the boot is made of taupe-colored Tuscan suede with a neat, short-shaved nap.
Floris van Bommel on the men's De Venker:
"This shoe is called De Venker. We named it after Boshuis Venkraai, a super cozy little café just around the corner from us in the Oisterwijk woods. We often use the inspiration for a shoe to describe a typical man or woman. For example, we made this shoe for a man who enjoys a relaxing cup of coffee with his family at Boshuis Venkraai on Sunday mornings, followed by a leisurely stroll through the woods. The story is clear: the shoe had to be light and exceptionally comfortable, look smart enough for a Sunday outfit, but be casual enough for that walk. I think we've achieved that. I have to admit, our stereotypes never really pan out. The only time my inspiration completely matched the user was when I wrote this piece. I wrote this piece for a man with a sense of style and quality, a man who truly appreciates craftsmanship and who, by reading these kinds of pieces, really immerses himself in the product he's interested in :) If this is your shoe, enjoy it!
