Van Bommel Olda 50002 men's lace-up boot in Dark Brown H-width (wide). This is a classic lace-up boot on a short, round last. The boot is made of lightly oiled dark brown suede from a tannery in Castelfranco di Sotto, Pizza, Italy. The shoe is made using the Goodyear process. This is a traditional and highly labor-intensive manufacturing method where every component of the shoe is custom-made in the factory. The outsole is made of durable TPU. The sole is made of vegetable-tanned leather. The boot is made on an H-width last and is therefore suitable for slightly wider feet. The interior of the shoe is finished with a high-quality calf lining. The boot does not have a removable footbed.

With the rise of the sneaker as a casual shoe, the shoe world and shoe design gained momentum. At least... you'd think so. In our archives, we have hefty design books from our sculptors dating back to the early 20th century. Each book contains hundreds of design drawings for classic shoes.
