Floris van Bommel The Normer 50132 lace-up shoe for men in H-width (wide) in taupe. This neat boot is equipped with a sturdy rubber sole that is finished with a luxurious leather sole edge. The light profile on the bottom of the tread gives the boot a neat, informal look. The boot is finished on the inside with gray calf lining of the highest quality. The insole is equipped with a fully removable footbed that can be exchanged for your own footbed or arch support. The boot is made on an H-last. This guarantees a wide fit range with room for the slightly wider foot. A rubber logo in the shape of an 'F' is incorporated into the upper at the back of the heel. The taupe suede of this boot has an informal look. After the tanning process, it is washed in the tanning vat and then provided with a stylish geometric print.

De Normer because we wanted to create a nice, normal boot. No extravagance with thick soles, unusual lasts, or heavy details. Just a nice, easy, basic boot that looks good. We had planned a commando tread pattern for the tread. That's a classic tread pattern that you can't change much, because then it's no longer the classic tread. The blocks of that tread always look a bit like clouds on a beautiful summer day. You can keep seeing different things in them. And that's what happened again. I saw... clouds. Not necessarily anything special, but with a drawing of our factory facade, little clouds puff out of our factory chimney, which simultaneously form the blocks of the commando tread pattern. And so we have a nice, normal boot that still has a lot of love put into it.
