A little secret from the shoe world: A shoe retailer often wears the worst shoe in his collection. He does this for two reasons. The first is very simple: he has fewer pairs in stock. The second reason is much more important. Because he wears the shoes, customers in the store suddenly see that they are actually quite nice shoes on the foot. That way, he still sells the shoes. There is always a huge difference between seeing a shoe on its own and on the foot. That was also the case with this shoe.
